In this lesson, you’ll learn how to use Blipply for both online shopping and in-store payments. Whether you're making a purchase from a local shop or ordering items online, Blipply makes the process quick and secure.
Shopping online with Blipply
Finding shops on Blipply:
Ensure online shopping is activated in your profile by adding your name, address, and connecting your wallet.
Once your profile is updated, go to the Map. Here, you can explore, search, and filter to find shops and services in your area.
Select a shop from the map and click on View Shop to start browsing their products. Add desired items to your cart.
When you’ve finished selecting items, go to View cart.
Choose between delivery or pickup options and verify your address information. Confirm your order.
You’ll receive a notification once the shop has accepted your order, ensuring a smooth shopping experience from start to finish.
Managing Orders:
Once your order is placed, you can view its status in the Order section. If a delivery is canceled, Blipply will automatically process a refund to your wallet.
Making in-store payments with Blipply
How to make an in-store payment:
When at a Blipply-supported merchant, open the app and tap on the Scan button on the start page.
Scan the QR code presented by the merchant.
Review the order details and confirm the payment by entering your Blipply PIN code.
Do you need internet access for in-store payments?
Yes, you’ll need an active internet connection to complete the transaction. Make sure your phone has a stable connection to avoid any delays at checkout.
Troubleshooting QR Code Scanning Issues:
Ensure your phone’s camera is working properly and that the QR code is clearly visible.
If the scan still fails, try restarting the app or contacting support for further assistance.
